Policy

Muller Partnership recognises that the company’s greatest asset is its employees, both employed staff and temporary contract personnel.  Accordingly, the company places a high level of importance on the promotion of a safe and healthy workplace, the prevention of accidents, and, where occupational injury has occurred, the rehabilitation of the employee to regain his or her health and wellbeing.

Management Responsibility

The Management of Muller Partnership recognises a duty of care responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors and visitors alike.  The Management commits itself to undertaking reasonable and effective action to:

  • Prevent accidents and personal injuries in the workplace; and
  • Preserve the health and wellbeing of staff and visitors within the work environment.

Employee Responsibility

Every employee engaging in his or her work, regardless of responsibility level or function, must ensure that his or her duties are carried out in a safe manner, without risk to themselves or to the wellbeing of others.

Common Responsibility

Implementing a duty of care requires everyone in the workplace to be aware of potential hazards and to take steps to prevent workplace accidents, injuries or illnesses.

Achieving a high standard of occupational health and safety requires that all employees work safely and co-operatively with management to ensure an incident free workplace.
